I totally get the hesitation. That price plus international shipping is enough to make anyone pause, even if the deck's been on your wishlist forever. You’re thinking it through, which is a good thing.
For me it leans more toward “nice to have” than “must have.” The cards are gorgeous and the black plastic with gold detail does feel luxe. If the aesthetic actually lights you up and you can see yourself reaching for it, that pleasure is worth something. Sometimes a deck that makes you happy to touch and use is worth the splurge.
That said, it’s fair to admit a lot of the cost is for the look and novelty. It won’t suddenly change your readings or replace other decks you already love. If you want something deeply expressive or emotionally raw, this one might come off as a bit minimal.
If you can comfortably afford it and want to treat yourself after years of wanting it, I don’t think you’ll regret it. If you’d rather put that money toward something that feels more meaningful, that’s totally valid too. Trust your gut - you’re not losing out either way. 💛
