The art is stunning and the little touches in the LWB were lovely, but I just couldn't really connect with it. Reading it felt awkward for me - several Major Arcana didn’t stand out, and even leaning on my tarot knowledge didn’t always help.
I ended up giving my copy to my best friend who loves decks like this; he gets a lot out of it. I liked the idea of a deck without human figures, all plants, but it wasn’t the right fit so I looked for something else.
It’s still fun to flip through and genuinely gorgeous, and I might pick it up again someday or borrow my friend’s. Mostly I appreciate it for the art and the concept.
