Two reversed cards = likely no.
One upright, one reversed = maybe.
The card meanings then give more context. For example, a likely yes might show a peaceful, even positive outcome — so in your case with the Sun, the “yes” could come with a sense of peace or acceptance. A maybe usually highlights unresolved factors that could still shift the outcome.
Also, a heads-up: questions about death rarely bring comfort. Tarot can still help, but framing it differently — like “How can I bring comfort to this person or myself?” — might be a lot gentler and more useful.
