I've read a lot of tarot books, and one that really sticks with me is Sarah Bartlett's The Tarot Bible. It's great for beginners but still useful if you've been reading a while. The card meanings and symbolism are explained clearly, and there are practical tips for doing readings. It also goes through different spreads and ways to work with the cards for personal growth.

I'd highly recommend 78 Degrees of Wisdom by Rachel Pollack. It's a Tarot classic and for good reason. Pollack really goes deep into the cards, their symbolism, and the spiritual side of reading. It's not just a how-to, more like a journey through Tarot's hidden depths.
