Looking for tarot decks in Spanish

I'm looking for a tarot deck printed in Spanish. Open to a traditional deck or something more modern - either works for me. If you've used a Spanish-language deck you really like, tell me which one and why. I'd love any recommendations 💛

I'd definitely recommend Tarot Español or El Gran Tarot Esotérico. I've had great experiences with both, and honestly it's hard to go wrong with decks from Fournier.

If you prefer the Rider Waite Smith system, US Games publishes a Spanish edition; it's a solid choice if you're already comfortable reading RWS.

If you're open to something a little different, take a look at Tarot Yohualli Ehecatl by MiCorazónMexicana on Etsy. It's a lovely indie deck blending Spanish and Indigenous Aztec influences. The art is really distinctive, and you can tell the creator put a lot of care into honoring their cultural heritage.

I'd recommend Tarot del Fuego. The artwork is gorgeous and really distinctive, so if you like bold, colorful imagery it could be a great fit.

Also try searching "baraja tarot" on Google or YouTube. You’ll find lots more Spanish-language decks, reviews, and walkthroughs that can help you find one that speaks to you.

I'd go with a Marseille deck and pair it with a book by Jodorowsky or Acosta. If you're into the Marseille tradition, both authors give a lot of insight and really help you make sense of the symbolism and how readings work.

This thread reminds me of a mistake I made years ago, before I knew better. I bought a Spanish Marseille deck because I loved the art, but I couldn't read a word of the little booklet and I'd never worked with Marseille before. I was so stubborn about it that I forced myself through a whole month of readings where I was basically guessing at the pips, and it taught me nothing except frustration. Now I only grab a deck in a language I can't read if I've already got a solid grip on the system itself. If you're new to the system, that's the thing to check first - the language is the easy part to solve later.
