Has anyone found certain tarot cards that they personally associate with Lady Lilith?

From what I've learned, there really isn't a traditional or widely accepted tarot method for identifying a specific spirit or deity (aside from some historical systems involving the 72 Names of God). That's probably why it's hard to find solid sources on it.

The whole idea of using tarot for "deity identification" is a fairly recent trend. A lot of modern interpretations tend to assign deities to cards without much grounding in the cultures or spiritual traditions those deities actually come from. Because of that, I think it's worth being a little cautious. Those associations can be meaningful on a personal level, but they're usually not part of established tarot practice or the original traditions connected to those deities.

I've seen a few different approaches to this.

If you're into astrology, one method is to look at the decan where Lilith falls in your natal chart and use the corresponding Minor Arcana card as a personal association. It's not a traditional tarot technique, but it can make sense if you already work with astrological correspondences.

If you're after a more symbolic association, I'd probably pick the Queen of Wands. She has that fiercely independent energy, stands in her own authority, and isn't afraid to challenge expectations. A lot of people see those qualities reflected in Lilith's story.

The High Priestess is another card that comes to mind. Some people connect her with Lilith as a figure of hidden wisdom, mystery, and autonomy, especially in interpretations where she's viewed as Adam's first counterpart before the more traditionally maternal energy of the Empress. It's definitely more of a symbolic link than an established correspondence, but I can see why people make that connection.

That's pretty much how I approach it too. Tarot doesn't have fixed "this card always equals this deity" meanings. The cards respond to the intention behind the reading.

If you're specifically asking about or invoking Lilith, then the cards you draw are speaking about her in the context of your question. The same spread drawn with a completely different intention would have a different focus.

That's why I don't think it's very useful to look for a permanent "Lilith card." Context matters much more than a one-to-one correspondence. The meaning comes from the question, the reading, and your relationship with the symbolism, not from a card being permanently assigned to a particular figure.

I think that's a good example of how personal these associations can be. The Lovers and the Devil make sense in the context of your reading because they reflected the themes you were exploring with Lilith, not necessarily because they're universally "her cards."

As you keep working with her, you might find other cards start carrying that connection too. That's one of the interesting things about building a personal practice - certain cards develop meanings that are unique to your experiences and your relationship with that energy.

I wouldn't worry too much about finding the "correct" tarot card for Lilith. If those cards consistently speak to you in that context, that's a valid personal correspondence, even if someone else's experience is completely different.

The most useful thing I've done is keep a journal where I note the card, the deck, and the question asked, then go back six months later to see what actually happened. Not in a predictive way, just to check whether that association still holds or if I was projecting something onto the card that day. At least for me, a "Lilith card" shifts depending on what I'm actually asking about, and the journal is the only way I can see that pattern instead of just feeling it in the moment.
