I've been thinking about the 8 of Swords in a feelings position since it popped up in a reading. I usually read it as stuck or restricted, so I'm wondering: could it mean person X feels stuck or confused about person Y?

Looking at the image-the woman surrounded by swords-could those swords be the things keeping X restricted? Like, maybe they're thoughts or worries that are blocking X’s feelings toward Y.

A friend of mine reads the 8 of Swords in feelings as someone who feels trapped or uncomfortable when they're close to the other person.

When it comes to emotions, it can point to someone who can't or won't show how they feel because the person is off-limits, like a best friend's partner, or it's just not appropriate to admit it, like with a boss.

Another take is the person refusing to face their own feelings, thinking, "If I can't see or touch you, I can pretend I don't have these feelings."

It can also be that teenage, melodramatic "lurve" vibe - "I can't live without you! I'm nothing without you! Nothing matters if you're not around!" 💑
