Career change interpretation - very confused

I've been trying to change careers for almost nine months now with no luck. Every time I do readings they seem fairly positive, but then I get constant rejections. I asked the cards for insight into the career change and pulled one Major Arcana and three minors: The Chariot, 3 of Wands, 9 of Pentacles and the Knight of Wands. How would you read that?

I'm putting everything into the search — courses, CV help, applying nonstop — but the results keep getting worse instead of better. The cards feel confusing because past readings have basically said "go for it," yet reality isn't matching. Also, the Knight of Wands shows up all the time for me. I've cleansed the deck, shuffled properly, and it still keeps popping up. Any thoughts?
