Apologies, realised my last post was wrong, so here's the corrected one:
Loving all the advice here, so I'll throw in my two cents to back what's already been said.
A quick technical note: in the Golden Dawn system The Tower links to Mars. When reversed it sort of "retrogrades" to The Hanged Man on the astrological wheel, which shifts the energy toward Neptune. That means trying a more Neptunian approach might help you see the positives in the relationship.
Basically, it's telling you to go deeper, emotionally. Internalising lets you process what's happening and figure out how you want to respond. The Hanged Man has stepped back from others to take in new info, and that suspended perspective can actually make your view more valid to other people.
It's a softer, less aggressive move than The Tower — Mars energy is pushy, ambitious, sometimes destructive — but still confident because you're actually absorbing what's going on. Since you pulled The Tower, that Mars stuff is still relevant, so keep being ambitious about your ideals for the relationship. Reversed, though, that ambition is mixed with emotional awareness, which helps you communicate and pick out what really matters.
Hope everything's working out for you 🙂
