Every few years, certain Major Arcana cards kind of take over my life. One that barely ever showed up for me before but has been popping up regularly lately is Justice. I don't have a deep handle on her yet, but she keeps landing in the "why something is happening" position-especially in love readings.

She gives me a mostly good feeling, but there's also something mysterious and a little intimidating about her. I'm not usually someone who thinks of tarot as communing with spirits, but Justice makes me feel like something larger is watching and stepping in to correct an imbalance.

I’ve actually pulled this card a few times recently. For me it was a wake-up call that I haven’t been fair to myself - way too hard, judging things too harshly instead of staying balanced and objective. That’s just how it played out for me though; it really depends on your situation and what’s going on in your life.

Justice is one of those heavy cards, and it sounds like it's showing up for you right now. For me, Justice usually appears when something's rebalancing, like life is leveling things out. It's more about karmic fairness and accountability than courtrooms most of the time.

Justice, to me, is all about truth. It's the card that makes you look at things as they really are, even if you don't want to. When it shows up I treat it as a prompt for honest reflection - what do I actually want versus what I'm likely to get, because things balance out and every action has a reaction.

I don't think anything really changes unless I do something. So when Justice appears I break the situation down: pros and cons, what I've been doing, and how that pattern might play out. I ask myself, "Have I been honest with myself? Am I hiding bad behavior, and is Justice calling me on it?"

It's never felt like a legal card for me.

It frames every action or inaction as sending out ripples-not just touching us, but the people and world around us. I like that reminder: what we do actually has weight and meaning. Being a Libra, I don’t really read it as the Justice card so much as an affirmation - a little universe nudge going, "Yep, this Libra’s on point." Sometimes I take it as confirmation the reading’s meant for me. It’s basically my go-to "yes" card.
