I get that. The 9 of Swords is basically about being swamped by anxious, looping thoughts, where small worries turn into mental disasters. It feels like being stuck in a spiral you can’t climb out of.
It also often shows up around mental health stuff — insomnia, nightmares, deep emotional distress. That said, it’s not saying someone is broken. It’s more about feeling trapped, and usually the first step out is some calm and basic self-care, a little breathing room.
It doesn’t promise instant fixes though. Moving out of that mindset depends on the cards around it and on outside support. What comes with the card — guidance, help, someone to hear you — can make all the difference.
