What Does the Page of Swords Mean as Action or Advice?

So, I got the Page of Swords when asking what to do to get a certain outcome. To me, it means being patient and staying alert — like waiting for some info or news that’s on its way but hasn’t arrived yet. It’s not about jumping in right away, more about watching and waiting for the right moment.

Still figuring it out, so would love to hear what you all think!

Hey, I see this card as a sign to get curious and learn more. Swords usually mean action, so I don’t think “just wait for news” fits here. The Page of Swords wants you to actively seek info.

Without knowing your exact goal, it’s tricky, but here’s how I’d look at it:

Trying to buy a house? Do your homework. Talk to realtors, friends, family — anyone who’s recently gone through it.

Want to make friends with someone? Get to know them. Find out what they like, where they’re from, what you share.

Basically, it’s about digging in and being proactive.

Hannah-M I’m still kinda figuring out the meanings myself, probably still pretty basic level, but yeah, swords definitely scream action — like, get up and do something!

What do you think about when the question is something like, “How can I make up with person X?” Would the Page of Swords still mean go out and do the work, or maybe something else?

Ashley88 Great question! For something like "How can I make up with person X?", I’d still see the Page of Swords as encouraging you to be curious and clear-headed — so definitely do the work, but with a sharp mind and open communication rather than rushing in impulsively.

It feels like the card wants you to gather information first: maybe really listen to their perspective, think through what went wrong, and figure out the best way to approach the conversation. So yeah, action for sure, but smart, thoughtful action rather than just diving in blindly.
