Yep, most tarot decks have 78 cards. Some makers throw in an extra one or two, so you’ll sometimes see 80-card decks. Some readers use those extras, others just leave them out. There are also decks that only have the 22 Trumps, so they’re Major Arcana-only. I’ve got a Tarrochino myself and it’s only 68 cards.
