6 of Cups reversed — is this a yes or a no?

Hey folks, I could use a second opinion.

I recently ended a connection with someone — we get along, but it was pretty clear we’re just not compatible for an actual relationship. We both said we’d like to stay friends, but he’s… uh… kinda terrible at communication, so I’m not fully convinced it’ll actually happen.

I asked my deck if we’ll stay friends, and I pulled the 6 of Cups reversed.

The internet can’t seem to agree on whether this card reversed is a yes or a no. I know reversals often lean “no,” but for some reason I’m feeling like it might be a “yes” here. Like maybe it’s about hanging onto the good parts of the past, which could work in this situation? Or maybe I’m just being delusional and too optimistic, lol.

What do you all think — am I reading this right or totally off?

I always see the 6 of Cups as that “comfort stuff” in your life — like your old cozy blanket, a childhood plushie, or your go-to comfort food.

But when it’s reversed? It’s like… the plushie is all moldy now and gives you allergies, or you burned your comfort meal and yeah, you could still eat it, but it’s definitely not hitting the same.

So in this case, if you two stay friends, it’s probably not gonna feel like it used to. The vibe won’t bring the same emotional comfort anymore.
