Devil card in a love reading - how should I take this?

I’m single and looking for a partner. A few minutes ago I asked my deck, “What are two signs I’ll know I’ve met the right person?” and pulled Eight of Wands and The Devil.

I read the Eight of Wands as fast, exciting energy - everything moving quickly and passionately. The Devil, though, has me stuck. I usually read it as warning about addiction, control, or earthly pleasures, and I’ve mostly seen it used as a caution.

Could this actually be a good sign? How do you read the Devil in a personal love context? I’d love to hear your takes.
